Die Beweisführung der Anklage erfuhr ein komplettes Fiasko, das Verfahren erwies sich als politischer Schauprozess, in dem Richter und Ankläger in ihren Rollen oft nicht zu unterscheiden waren, während die so genannte "Wahrheitsfindung" zu einer Farce geriet, deren Drehbuch politischen Vorgaben folgte.
