Ich habe der Seminararbeit den Titel „Psychoanalytische Deutung des Symbolgehalts in Il pescatore e il jinn“ gegeben, weil ich mich gezielt auf eine bestimmte Deutungsrichtung der Symbole spezialisieren möchte. Basis meiner Untersuchung ist ein ausgewähltes Märchen aus 1001 Nacht, welches ich nach kurzer Präsentation in Form einer Zusammenfassung in italienischer Sprache- um den Bezug zur Romania nicht zu verlieren-zu analysieren versuche. Ich werde dabei einzelne Personen, Objekte und Motive des Märchens in Anlehnung an die Untersuchung von Hans Dieckmann1 in ihrer Sinnbedeutung zu erfassen suchen. Ich möchte bemerken, daß es sich hier um einen sehr weitreichenden Komplex handelt, weshalb ich mich bei meiner Analyse ganz gezielt auf bestimmte Personen und ausgewählte Motive und Symbole beschränken werde. Ich werde mich nur auf die Symbole beziehen, welche in der Hauptgeschichte vorkommen, mit Ausnahme der Geschichte „Il re delle isole nere“. Die Untergeschichten behandle ich nicht auf ihren Symbolgehalt hin, da es einerseits den Rahmen dieser Arbeit sprengen würde und andererseits die Zusammenhänge innerhalb der Rahmengeschichte weniger deutlich erkennen ließe. Da meine gesamte Arbeit auf psychologischen bzw. psychoanlaytischen Ansätzen beruht, werde ich auch den letzten Teil meiner Arbeit aus dem psychologischen Blickwinkel betrachten, nämlich die Entstehungsgeschichte des Konflikts, um den es schließlich hintergründig in dem Märchen geht, und dessen Lösung.
