die uns der Drehbuchautor vermitteln will, dazu gehört schon etwas mehr als nur
das passive Ansehen. Ein Film zeigt uns eine fiktionale Welt auf, die wir oftmals als
reale Abbildung annehmen, wie der griechische Philosoph Platon schon in seinem
„Höhlengleichnis“ darstellt.
Doch häufig werden nur Teile unserer Realität im Film beschrieben, um ein besseres
Verständnis der erschaffenen Fiktion herbeizuführen. Durch diese Verschmelzung
von Realität und Fiktion soll der Zuschauer zum Nachdenken angeregt werden und
eventuell Anreize zur Veränderung seines bisherigen Weltbildes bekommen.
In dem Seminar ’Philosophie im Film’ wurde versucht das Spannungsfeld zwischen
Fiktion und Realität an ausgewählten Filmen zu ergründen.
In der folgenden Ausarbeitung soll hinterfragt werden, in welchem thematischen
und historischen Kontext der Film Zelig von Woody Allen aus dem Jahr 1983 steht.
Wie entstand der Film? Welche Aussage vermittelt er? Wie wurde er vom Publikum
und Kritikern aufgenommen?
