Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 1,7, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Deutsches Seminar I), Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar Bedeutungstheorie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Gegensatz zur Merkmalssemantik, die einen Begriff in seine semantischen Merkmale zerlegt, kann in der Prototypensemantik nur auf der Basis einer empirischen Untersuchung geforscht werden. Dazu bieten sich drei Formen der Untersuchung an: Die Beobachtung und Analyse von an Aphasie leidenden Menschen, die Analyse des Spracherwerbs bei Kindern oder Feldforschung durch Fragebögen. Letztere Methode habe ich bei 30 Personen angewendet, mit dem Ziel, die Herkunft oder Art der Erzeugung von Prototypen nachvollziehen zu können, etwaige regionale, kulturelle oder soziale Einflüsse und Auswirkungen aufzuzeigen und wenn möglich die Ergebnisse von Eleanore Rosch aus den 70er Jahren zu widerlegen oder zu bestätigen. Sicherlich sind 30 Testpersonen keine repräsentative Menge, dennoch zeichnen sich einige Tendenzen sehr deutlich ab, was durch eine größere Anzahl an Personen nur noch verstärkt werden würde.
