Mundarten wie z.B. das Sächsische, das Berlinerische, das Bayrische oder auch das Kölsche Platt. Diese Dialekte hört man immer wieder, so z. B. im Fernsehen die „Erdinger- Weißbier“ - Werbung. Auch TV- Serien spielen mit diesen Mundarten. Die Sitcom „Alles Atze“ oder auch die „Familie Becker“ benutzen die Mundarten, um das „normale Leben“ witziger bzw. anders darzustellen.
Ich möchte mich mit einer Mundart beschäftigen, die erst in der letzten Zeit wieder Eingang in die Medienwelt gewinnen konnte, dem„norddeutschen“ Plattdeutschen.
Dazu werde ich versuchen, den Wandel dieser Sprache von einer angesehen gesprochenen und Schriftsprache im Mittelalter zu einer verschmähten Mundart, bis hin zu einer Kultursprache darzulegen.
Dabei werde ich mich allerdings auf das Plattdeutsche beschränken, welches man in Schleswig-Holstein spricht. Neben diesem gibt es eine Reihe von anderen plattdeutschen Sprachen, so z.B. das mecklenburgische Platt.
Der Wandel der plattdeutschen bzw. niederdeutschen Sprache hat sich in drei Stufen vollzogen:
Zum einen gibt es den radikalen Schreibsprachenwechsel im 16. bis 17. Jahrhundert, dem folgte ein weitgehender Wechsel der gesprochenen Sprache vor allem im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Im 20. Jahrhundert erfuhr das Plattdeutsche dann einen neuerlichen Aufstieg zur Kultursprache.
