Die vorliegende Hausarbeit gibt einen Einblick in Chiles langen Weg zur Demokratie, so wie
wir sie heute in diesem Land vorfinden. Dabei geht sie auf die Unabhängigkeitsbewegung
vom spanischen Mutterland näher ein und beleuchtet die Regierungen unter Salvador Allende
und die Diktatur unter Augusto Pinochet nach dem Militärputsch vom 11. September 1973.
Zum Schluss wird die Arbeit einen Einblick in die heutige politische Situation des Landes
geben, sowie eine Prognose für die Veränderungen in den kommenden Jahren wagen.
