Bossing – die Bedeutung dieses Begriffs kennen die wenigsten Menschen, auch wenn sie in der Realität eventuell schon schmerzliche Erfahrungen diesbezüglich machen mussten.

Dieses Wort hat sich in meinem Gedächtnis verewigt, da ich selbst eine ehemals Betroffene bin. Letztendlich war es für mich auch der Auslöser zu meiner eigenen Weiterbildung im psychologischen Bereich. Ich wollte wissen, warum Menschen in bestimmten Lebenssituationen anders reagieren, als ich es selbst vielleicht erwartet hätte. Die Ausbildung zum Psychologischen Berater hat mir – auch in dieser Hinsicht – sehr geholfen und ich kann heute mit dem notwendigen Abstand Reaktionen und Äußerungen meiner Mitmenschen werten und besser verstehen.

Auch in meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit spielt dieses Abschlussarbeitsthema eine besondere Rolle: Ich berate seit vielen Jahren sowohl Existenzgründer als auch gestandene Unternehmer. Früher wurde ich des Öfteren mit Situationen konfrontiert die ich nicht verstand, denn die Kunden klärten mich kaum über Hintergründe auf. Zum Beispiel suchten mich mehrfach insbesondere ehemalige Filialleiter großer Supermarktketten auf, um im Rahmen einer Gründungsidee Hilfe und Unterstützung zu bekommen. Im Gespräch stellte sich heraus, dass sie nach vielen Beschäftigungsjahren bei ihrem jeweiligen Arbeitgeber plötzlich und ohne jegliche Abfindungen das Unternehmen mittels eines Aufhebungsvertrages verlassen hatten. Bei meiner Frage nach dem „Warum?“ wurden die wahren Ursachen totgeschwiegen bzw. verursachten bei den Betroffenen meist offensichtlich unangenehme Gefühle.
Da - wie Eingangs bereits bemerkt - die Thematik noch weitestgehend unbearbeitet bzw. nicht separat statistisch ausgewertet ist, stand mir zur Recherche nicht allzu viel themenspezifische Literatur zur Verfügung. Nicht zuletzt auch deshalb ist die Beschäftigung mit der von mir gewählten Fragestellung umso wichtiger.
