Twenty years later the children of the survivors are brought up as free thinkers in a money-less society where the old powers no longer rule. But the ways of the old world will not let go as ruthless bandits, a religious con-artist, and a power hungry ex-state politician conspire together to try and regain the four elements of control - Politics, Religion, Soldiers and Money.

This is not a ‘shoot em up’ zombie series for those who are considering reading the book but is more focused on the islander’s attempts against all odds to build a new and equal society after the collapse of the old world. A society without money.
